A Young Actress

A road to success always has many pitfalls. And acting is no exception. I had a friend of my who longed to become an accomplished actress. Despite her great ambition she didn't know this universal truth at the beginning of her career. She was upset when she had no chance to go on the stage. Luckily one distinguished director noticed her and remarked how talented she was. Through a number of exhausting rehearsals she finally got her first leading part. It was a great success. When the play come to an end, the audience greeted her with the storm of applause. I was one of the spectators, to tell the truth, and gladly joined in. I could clearly see from my seat how happy and excited she was.
