Adjectives have three forms of degrees of comparison. They are Positive, Comparative, Superlative. We form these degrees in two ways. We use either suffixes or words. We use the suffixes - er and - est when adjectives have one or two syllables.

A tall boy - a taller boy - the tallest boy.

A happy day - a happier day - the happiest day.

We use words more and the most when adjectives have three or more syllables. Beautiful - more beautiful - the most beautiful.

We use definite article the in Superlative.

There are some interrogative adjectives.

Bad - worse - the worst.

Little - less - the least.

Good - better - the best.

Many - more - the most.
