Snakes are the carnivorous species of reptiles. Thousand types of snakes are known worldwide, but mostly they are divided into two types: the nonvenomous snakes and those that have venom. Those types of snakes that have venom use it generally to kill the victim. The venom of some species is strong enough to kill at list one huge animal or an adult person. However, most of venom snakes prefer to avoid contact with humans and can bite only in case of protection. That is why people learned to use the venom of the snake as a treatment.
