How many kilobytes in megabyte?

In the beginning, I would like to start with an explanation of what is kilobytes and megabytes. It is a way of measuring the information. The smallest one is a bit which equals 1. Then, byte equals 8 bits. After that kilobytes = 1,024 bytes. In one megabyte - 1,048,576 bytes or 1,024 kilobytes (in binary). In decimal 1 megabyte is 1,000,000 bytes or 1,000 kilobytes. Also, there are gigabytes, terabytes, petabytes and so on.
