There are many famous writers in the world, who changed their own fates themselves. One of them is O'Henry, an American writer, who was born in 1862 in Texas. But before he became a writer, O'Henry had many different jobs. He worked in the chemist's shop, wrote the short articles for the newspapers. His last profession was a cashier. He worked in a small bank and made a lack there. In prison he began to write the stories. When he was in prison, his wife died. The relatives had to take his daughter into their family. That's why O'Henry had to earn much money. After liberation he lived in New-York and every week he created one story. Soon he became a great comic writer.
