London is a very beautiful and interesting city. A lot of tourists go there every year and and visit the most amazing sights and historical places. Let's remember some of them. There are so many legends according to its existence. This fortification was built only in 1220. The Bloody Tower in London was rebuilt several times. The basement of the tower shows that there lived a wealthy family. There is a fireplace and the floor is beautifully tiled. There is untrue fact that in the tower the prisoners were kept long time. The Tower of London has long and wonderful history. It was a fortress, a royal palace and later a prison. Now it's a museum. London can offer you wonderful places with gardens, parks, zoos. But its history is really worth seeing and knowing.
