a) These are my parents. - Это мои родители. b) Lucy is English. - Люси - англичанка. c) We are in the garden. - Мы в саду. d) This is her pen. - Это ее ручка. e) Maria and Anna are students. - Мария и Анна - студенты. f) My dog is happy. - Моя собака счастлива. g) I am happy. - Я счастлив.

Am, is, are are the present forms of the auxiliary verb to be. Am is used for the first person singular, is is used for the third person singular and are is used for the all persons plural.
