In my opinion, our students and students of English schools have different opportunities for further education. Upon graduation, the entrants can enter university, and study for about 5 years (in each university in different ways), or after grade 9 Form can go to college. After college students can go to university.

In English schools everything is different. All education after 16 years is referred to as "further education" in the UK. A-Levels is a program of the last two years of the British High School, which prepares students for admission to the University and lasts for 2 years. Students take exams at the age of 18 years. This qualification is compulsory for those who plan to study at Oxford, Cambridge, or at a medical school. Foundation is an alternative preparatory program specially designed for foreign students. It lasts for 1 year and prepares for entry into almost all British universities. This is just a preparation for the university. Higher education programs last 3 years with a bachelor's degree. Also, there is postgraduate education there. Master's programs last for one year and provide for the defense of thesis.
