Hi Katie,

This summer holidays my family and I are spending in Barcelona. This is my first visit to Spain and I'm completely in love with this country! It is beautiful, its history is great and the food is delicious.

We're staying in a small cozy hotel in Barcelona. The owners are very pleasant people, they make tasty breakfasts for us with Spanish bacon - jamon, eggs and fresh orange juice.

Before the trip I've read a lot about the architecture of Barcelona. But you know that it's better to see once than to hear a hundred times! Yesterday we visited Goudy Park and walked along la Rambla, the most famous street in the city.

Tomorrow we're going to spend a few hours at the beach and on Tuesday we want to go shopping, because it's the season of sales now. Promise to bring you a Spanish souvenir!
