Сельскохозяйственные почвы должны содержать органическое и минеральное вещество. Зерновые культуры не могут хорошо расти, если не хватает воды, растительной пищи, тепла и воздуха. Детям разрешили копать землю лопатой и разрыхлять ее граблями. Они должны поливать растения и пропалывать огороды. Если фермеры хотят иметь высокий урожай зерновых, фруктов и овощей, они должны иметь плодородную почву.
