Sally asked Diane If she had applied for the job.

Diane said that she had had an interview the day before.

Sally wondered how it had gone

Diane told that it was fine, but she was wondering if she wanted the job, because she would have to move to Manchester.

Sally asked what she would do then.

Diane told that if they offered her the job, she couldn't accept it.

(When we change direct speech into indirect we have to do some changes. We change present tenses into past. We change pronouns).
