Глагол to be имеет три формы: is, am, are.

Форма IS используется с существительными 3 лица ед. числа.

Отрицание образуется путем добавления частицы NOT : isn't

1. His mum is from the USA. His mum isn't from USA. His mum is from Spain.

Его мама из США. Его мама не из США. Его мама из Испании.

2. Jack is in Manchester now. Jack isn't in Manchester now. Jack is in London now.

Джэк в Манчестере сейчас. Джэк не в Манчестере сейчас. Джэк в Лондоне сейчас.

3. Jack is rugby fan. Jack isn't rugby fan. Jack is football fan.

Джэк - фанат регби. Джэк не фанат регби. Джек - фанат футбола.
