Sport is an important part of our life. I like a lot of kinds of sport, but the best one is football for me. Football is very popular game. There are a lot different teams, events about football, fan clubs in the world. Many players are very famous, they made brilliant careers playing football. Such matches attract many people, who come to support favourite players. A football team consists of 11 players: a goalkeeper, backs, half-backs and forwards. Usually the oldest and the best player of the team is the captain. Football game usually lasts for one and a half hours. At half-time, the teams change ends. The aim of each team is to score as many goals as possible. I and my friends play football every weekends. At school we often have football competitions between classes. I also like to watch football matches with my father. We never miss matches of our national football team.
