What are you doing? I am looking for my book.

We use Present Continuous. Present Continuous is used for an action that takes place at the moment of speech. The auxiliary verb of Present Continuous is to be. We use the present forms of the auxiliary verb to be - am, is, are. Am is used for the first person singular. (I am). Are is used for the plural. (We, you, they). Is is used for the third person singular. We add the suffix - ing to verb.

Negative - am / is / are + not + verb + ing.

Interrogative - am / is / are + subject + verb + ing.
