1) Edinburgh is sometimes called as 'the Athens of the North'.

2) Between the New Town and the Old Town there is a street calls the Princess street, which separates the New Town from the Old Town.

3) The Edinburgh castle was used to be a prisoner of war. It was home to prisoners of war.

4) The Castle attracts tourists because it is both a museum and has a long, old history. It is very beautiful.

5) The Royal Mile is a street full of many shops and attractions.

6) The monument to the dog Bobby is situated in the New Town.

7) There are many different things which attract thousand of tourists from all over the world. The most wonderful places are in Edinburgh and also there are the oldest ones. For example: the Edinburgh Castle, the Holyrood Palace, the Princess street, the monument to Sir Walter Scott and etc.

8) The Queen lives in the Holyrood Palace.
