My favourite season

All the seasons are different. You can go to the beach in summer, admire multicoloured leaves in autumn, celebrate the New Year's Eve in winter and observe how the weather wakes up in spring. I like all of these things, but my favourite season of the year is winter. I like winter because it's frosty, I can go for a walk and then come back home and take a cup of hot chocolate with a slice of apple pie. The evenings are long, so I watch movies and read books. And January is the time of celebration: New Year and Christmas are my favourite holidays. I usually decorate the New Year's tree and buy presents for my family and friends. As for me, it's a magic season.
