Великобритания - страна традиций и обычаев. В первую очередь британцы отмечают различные праздники, когда не ходят в школу и на работу. Это оплачиваемые нерабочие дни, государственные и общественные праздники. Люди в различных частях страны празднуют разные выходные дни, но Пасхальный понедельник, первый понедельник мая, последний понедельник августа, Страстная пятница являются общими выходными днями по всей стране. Поскольку банки закрыты, у всех людей выходной. Это традиционные дни для отдыха и похода в церковь, посещения родственников и времяпровождения с детьми.
