The United Kingdom is situated on the islands called the British Isles. Once formed part of this continent situated off the north-west of Europe the British Isles All over the world Britain is famous for its fogs. Wales is often called the "land of songs" because the Welsh people are famous for their good voices. The Highlands are the hilly or mountainous regions in the north of the country. London is divided into 3 parts: West End, East End and the City. Cambridge is one of old university towns of England.
