В упражнении необходимо раскрыть скобки, поставив прилагательные в правильную форму.

Односложные и некоторые двусложные прилагательные образуют сравнительную степень сравнения путем прибавления суффикса - er: happy - happier, warm - warmer.

Если прилагательное многосложное, перед ним в сравнительной степени ставится слово more: more beautiful, more expensive.

Некоторые прилагательные являются исключениями: good - better, bad - worse.

The houses in London are higher than in his place. The streets are longer than in his place. The squares are bigger. The hotels are cosier than in his place. The cars are better than in his small town.
