    1. He asked me if I had got a Russian - English dictionary and wondered if I would be able to let him have it for that evening. He explained that he had to do some very difficult translation. I agreed and said that I would not need it that night.

    2. He told me that he would finish reading the book by Monday and then I would be able to have it.

    3. The teacher told us that we had to read that text at home.

    4. She said that she had to introduce her husband to us.

    5. He said that we thought that he might know something.

    6. John asked me if I would be able to find their house without him and added that I had never been to those parts.
