14. The most important events in the history of Russia are the Patriotic War of 1812, the Great Patriotic War of 1914, the October Revolution, the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, the first launch of a human into space and the Perestroika.

15. As for me, these are Dmitriy Medvedev and Alexander Ovechkin. Dmitriy Medvedev is the Russia's Prime Minister, he is known for his reforms in the country's economy. Alexander Ovechkin is a hockey player, he is famous all over the world for his successful playing in hockey games.

16. The official symbols of Russia are the tricolour flag and the two-headed eagle.

17. The Russian national flag was created by the Russian Tsar Peter the Great. The flag has three horizontal stipes: white, blue and red. White color symbolizes generosity; blue means frankness and honesty, while red means audacity and readiness to defend the native land.
