The tiger is a predator of the kind of cats, a representative of the genus Panther. The tiger is a mammal. It is the largest cat and one of the largest predators on Earth. Once on the planet there were 9 subspecies of this animal, but at the moment there are only six ones. In nature, there are no more than 6500 individuals. Most of them are Bengal tigers. The decrease in population size is primarily associated with the hunting of an animal, as well as the destruction of their habitat. Tiger is an animal that lives in the jungle. But people are increasingly cutting down trees under the fields. Cats have nowhere to look for food, so they often wander into human villages, which often ends with the death of the animal. This problem is especially acute in India. Finally, realizing the scale of the looming tragedy, in 2018 tiger hunting was completely banned. Many animals are in zoos, in captivity people are trying to increase the population of this beautiful predator.
