Yuri Gagarin is the first man in the world who saw the Earth from space, the hero of the Soviet Union. He was born in a small village in a family of villagers. Immediately after entering the school, the war began, and the education had to be interrupted. After the war finishing, the family moved to Gzhatsk (now Gagarin). There he graduated with honors from the technical school. Then Yuir entered the Saratov technical school, where he entered the flying club. In 1955 Gagarin was drafted into the army and sent to Orenburg. After graduation he served in Luostari. In 1959 Yuri signed up as a candidate for astronauts. And already in 1961 he made the first flight into space on the ship "Vostok". After defending a diploma, he made training flights on an MiG-15UTI plane. He crashed on it in March 27, 1968. After his death, national mourning was declared.
