A. 1. Jill must keep to a diet. It's her doctor's recommendation. 2. Alice, you should cook supper because your Mom is ill. 3. The conference must begin at ten exactly. 4. Children shouldn't spend so much time playing computer games. 5. As he doesn't have enough money for the ticket he has to walk.

B. 1. Listen! He's singing the tune quite wrong. 2. I am afraid, I hardly know him. 3. Have you been abroad lately? 4. He spent nearly all his money. 5. Open the gates wide.
