Some streets in my town are called after famous people, for example Gagarina Street. People use a name first man who flew to space. In some way the reason for name of street was a place which located near, for example Lesnaya Street. From the name of street we can know that this street is near to the forest.

Often the street has a unusual name which was passed on father to son by word on mouth, it can be Vesennyaya Street. People from the nearest place call this street because their parents said so.

When the goverment is changed in country streets may be renamed. Such way Gorkiyi street becomes Tverskay Street.

So streets can be called in different way.
