1. Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin is a famous Russian poet and writer who lived in the nineteenth century. Famous for his poems and even fairy tales. 2. Pushkin was born in Moscow, but the exact date is unknown. In some sources this is the twenty-sixth of May, 1799, and in others the date of his birth is considered the sixth of June. 3. His education Pushkin received in the Alexandrov Lyceum, where he survived the war, which began in 1812. 4. Pushkin began to write his first works in the Lyceum when he was a teenager. His teacher A. P. Kunitsyn was the first who appreciated his creative talent. Later Pushkin in his works called the years of study at the Lyceum the best and happiest. 5. His first works were published in Moscow in the magazine which was called "The Messenger of Europe", in July 1814. Pushkin was the only fifteen years old. 6. His most famous works are: "Ruslan and Lyudmila", a novel in verse Eugene Onegin. 7. In 1820 in Kishenev during the exile Pushkin began work on his first novel Eugene Onegin. He continued work on it during seven years. 8. In his novels the great Russian poet described the life of rich and poor people, their love, wrote about history, also in his novels you can find a lot of descriptions of the nature and clothes which people wore at that time. 9. Pushkin died during the duel on the twenty-eighth of January 1837 on the outskirts of Saint-Petersburg. 10.
