John Reed was born on October 22, 1887. On leaving high school, he went to Harvard. Harvard was the university for the sons of oil kings and steel magnates. John Reed finished his studies, got his degree, entered the wide world and conquered it. He always went to places where big thighs happened. He was arrested for writing about the treachery ... He collected material wherever he could find it. He caught typhus and died on Sunday, October 17, 1920. John Reed was buried in Red Square.
