После словосочетаний "That's, It's, This is" в основном стоит существительное с неопределённым артиклем a, an в ед. ч. Если слово во множественном числе, артикль отсутствует (These are ...).

А ставится перед словом, начинающемся с согласного звука, an - с гласного.
