Hello Peter,

How are you? I am doing well. Yesterday my parents and I went to see my grandma. She had cooked for us green shchi, a traditional Russian soup. It is made on the base of beef broth. It has a very rich flavor. Green shchi is a summer dish as besides of the meat there are lots of greens and vegetables in the receipt. It is made with onions, sorrel, spinach, nettle, potatoes, tomatoes and carrots.

It doesn't take much time to cook this soup, yet it is full of vitamins and is very tasty. If you come to Russia one day, try this soup in a restaurant. However the best receipt is my grandma's and if you come to Moscow she will prepare it for you. She loves cooking for family and friends.
