Дополнив предложения из задания нужными формами глагола to be, мы получим следующее:

I am at home. I am sad. It is windy and rainy. My friends are at home, too. I am near the window. I can see trees. They are beautiful. I can see a little kitten. It is under the tree. It is sad.

При выполнении этого задания мы должны вспомнить, какие формы может принимать глагол to be (быть, являться) в Present Simple (простое настоящее время). Это зависит от того, с какими местоимениями/существительными он используется: I - am, you (ты; вы) - are, he/she/it - is, we - are, they - are.
