Can меняется на could в прошедшем времени и to be able to в будущем, т. к у самого глагола нет такой формы.

1. My daughter could sing very well. My daughter will be able to sing very well.

2. Everybody could do this work. Everybody will be able to do this work.

3. Could you play this game? Will you be able to play this game?

Must заменяется глаголом have to: had to в прошедшем времени и will have to в будущем.

4. You had to move to another town. You will have to move to another town.

5. They had to wait for us here. They will have to wait for us here.

May в прошедшем времени заменяется на might, а в будущем - will be allowed.

6. You might take all of it. You will be allowed to take all of it.

7. Might I ask you a question? Will I be allowed to ask you a question?
