In my opinion, it's not a secret that parents desire their children to obey them and I think so for the three following reasons. First of all, it's apparent that every single parent sees his or her child as a reflection of himself or herself, which is why there is a want of modeling one's behavior. Secondly, parents are usually overprotective, especially concerning the teenagers, which is why the rules are present. Finally, parents simply always want the best for their child, which is why they ask to obey.
