Ранее существовало всего триста видов слонов, и сегодня их можно найти в Африке и Индии. Особенно опасны азиатские и индийские слоны. Охотники убивали этих животных для мяса и бивней из слоновой кости в течение длительного количества времени. А сегодня многие слоны в Африке умирают, потому что у них нет достаточного количества пищи для пропитания, также как нет пространства для полноценной жизни. Но уже сегодня только один миллион слонов живут на нашей планете. И в какой-то день даже они могут исчезнуть.
