This place is known for its connection with the famous Beatles group and its well-known football team. But first of all, Liverpool is large port-city and a very important transport centre of the country.

During the British Empire it was one of the main centers of shipbuilding. Today the city is considered to be one of the cultural capitals of Europe. It is the best place to explore Victorian England. There are a lot of interesting places to visit: Liverpool Cathedral and Albert Dock, Goodison Park and Merseyside Maritime Museum, Halton Castle and the Beatles Museum - the only museum in the world, whose exposition tells only about this group, where the personal belongings of musicians, their instruments, costumes and much more can be seen.
