Did English language existed two thousand years ago?

Many years ago the Celts lived in the British Islands. They language was Celt. They spoke different Celtic dialects. Then Latin was brought to this country. It was the Romans language. It was brought by Julius Caesar in 55BC. Then they left and the Germanic tribes came. They were Angels, Saxons and Jutes. They brought their language with them. It was Anglo-Saxon. Then the Vikings came. They brought their language, too. Then the Normans came. They brought French with them. French became the official language. But not for the native people. They spoke English.
