Инфинитив и герундий употребляется с определенными глаголами. В предложениях герундий употреблен после глаголов: enjoy, fancy, (don't) mind, stop*, suggest, risk, hope. Инфинитив - после глаголов: decide, (can't) afford, threaten.

*Если значение глагола "остановиться, чтобы что-то сделать", то употребляется инфинитив (He stopped to drink a cup of coffee); если же его значение "прекратить", то употребляется герундий (I stopped eating meat).
