Everybody knows that cats and mice are never friends. But it's not in this tale. Imagine, once upon a time there lived one old cat in a big old house. Its master always said that it was very lazy, old and needless animal in the house. And he was rather right. So one day, one sly mouse appeared in that big house. It took cheese and other food from the kitchen and put some crumbs on the table and floor. The master of the house was so crazy about this. And he began to scold his lazy cat. He put the condition: if his cat didn't catch that sly mouse for three days, he would live in the street. The cat was really old and it didn't want to catch that mouse. It hadn't any force and wish for this. So they decided to make an agreement. The mouse had to appear near the master dead. So for the third day it happened as for two animals' plan. The master saw the dead mouse in the kitchen and was very glad. He was proud of his old cat. But actually, the mouse was alive. But it was more attentive going to the kitchen next time. So the cat and the mouse became good friends.
