There are so many holidays in the world. Each country has something special and unusual. So I'd like to tell about the most wonderful. I think, the most romantic is St. Valentine's Day. People make gifts, buy sweets and lovely greeting cards for their friends and lovers. Christmas is also like a fairy tale, which is waited especially by children. They usually dream of something wonderful and excited. April fools' day is special for funny jokes. People try to make the funniest joke over their friends and relatives. New Year's Day is also great. It means the start of a new year, but the celebration actually begins on the 31-st of December, New Year's Eve. People invite friends and relatives to the family parties and stay up all night, shouting "Happy New Year!". Halloween is one of the best holidays for children. Some adults like it too. They wear different masks and costumes of ghosts, witches, skeletons. It's usually funny and a little bit awful holiday. Every year, on the 5-th of November People in Great Britain celebrate Guy Fawkes Night or Bonfire Night. It's a holiday of fireworks, firecrackers and many smiles. The main tradition is the burning of an effigy, Guy Fawkes, the hero of this holiday. I think, each holiday brings something special to everyone, so people try to remember from every holiday some certain fairy moment and feeling.
