    2. Yesterday by eight o'clock he had finished all his homework.

    3. When I came to his place at nine, he was reading.

    4. I have been waiting for permission to go abroad for already three weeks, but I have not received the visa yet.

    5. Everybody is at the door of the museum, but my friend has not come yet.
