Easter

Easter is a very important holiday for every Christian. It is celebrated in spring, but the date is always different.

A few days before Easter, people bake a special Easter bread. Children and adults paint eggs in different colours.

At Easter families go to churches. They take Easter baskets with them. They put Easter bread, painted eggs, ham and cheese into the basket. They take these baskets to church to bless the food. Next morning the family gathers together to eat the blessed food.
