1) She said to me that she had known my father well.

2) He said to us that everybody in the village knew each other.

3) She said to me that under my feet there was a spring.

4) He said to me that the time had come to show me something.

5) She asked me to follow her.

6) He asked her to close her eyes.

7) She asked them what it meant.

8) He said that he had asked him to come.

9) She said that she was going to show us something.

10) He said that he never threw things away.
