После того как фонарь чихает, свет гаснет. Теперь никто не видит куда класть письма. В это время к фонарю подходит утка. Её зовут Миранда. Она смотрит на фонарь и думает: "Как люди кладут свои письма в почтовый ящик без фонаря?" Она взбирается на почтовый ящик и начинает крякать. Она крякает и крякает. И люди, которые приходят положить письмо в почтовый ящик говорят: "Здесь темно. Где же ящик?" Но затем они слышат кряканье Миранды. И они думают: "Что она так крякает?" Затем они видят Миранду и почтовый ящик под ней. Они кладут туда свои письма, и они очень счастливы.
