The pharaohs solved the most important issues - war, trade, and many others. In ancient Egypt, a pharaoh was worshipped as God himself. Most ordinary people were farmers. Along the Nile they had small fields where wheat, vegetables and fruits were grown. In addition, farmers in ancient Egypt bred cattle, sheep and goats. So they could provide themselves with food and clothing. The Egyptians were also great master-builders who created eternal structures such as pyramids and temples.
