Некоторым английским праздникам уже сотни лет. Другие же не настолько древние, но не менее популярные. Многие англичане считают, что очень важны монархические традиции. Королева - единственное лицо в стране, у которого два дня рождения. Родилась королева Елизавета 21 апреля, это ее настоящий день рождения. Но ее официальный день рождения празднуется во вторую субботу июня. Официальный день рождения был учрежден королем Георгом IV в 19-м веке.
