Many years ago Great Britain had a lot of colonies all over the world. For example, Canada, Australia, USA, India, New Zealand and countries of Africa. The language changed in each of them differently. In USA, Africa, India and New Zealand the local languages influenced on it. In Canada French language changed it. In Australia convicts who were illiterate came. Because of that, they also changed the language and added their own words. That is how the English language has changed.
